\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Execute a document retention\/ destruction policy.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Identify hazards that could impact your unit\u2019s ability to conduct business.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Do not post negative remarks, photos, etc. on social media.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Demonstrate financial integrity and transparency.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Review risk policies and evaluate their effectiveness.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Conduct periodic risk and compliance assessments, no matter the size of your unit.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Confirm that your unit has filed the IRS Form 990 as required.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Make unbiased judgements.

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2022 Analyze what can go wrong, how likely it is to happen, what the potential consequences are and how acceptable the risk is.

Always know where to go, when to go and how to use available resources to keep your unit functioning properly.
